Anastasia Beverly Hills Stripped – Hey friends! Recently I sacrificed my bank account to Queen Anastasia so I could get my greedy mattes on some of her new liquid lipsticks. If you’re new to my little niche of the internet, ABH Lips is a formula I love and so I’ll stop at any excuse to grab some new shades. In honor of their quick arrival – bless the express shipping – I thought I’d walk you through my little collection.
Let’s start with my absolute favorite, the show, Pure Hollywood. Lord, I love this shade. It’s a reddish brown-pink shade for my skin tone (which is Mont Blanc from Nars, if you’re wondering) and if I could possibly wear this color, I’d give up iced coffee for the rest of my life. . I’m just being a bit dramatic.

The other is one of the new ones – another unfinished, whose name has been withheld. Honestly, this gives PH a run for the title of ‘Best Undead’, it’s so beautiful. It runs a little less pink than its counterpart, but it’s definitely different enough to warrant you owning both (or am I just saying that myself?). Anyway, I’ve been wearing it non-stop since I bought it and have been making all my friends try it.
Gifts For The Lipstick Lovers
Another gem in my core collection is Dusty Rose – it was a cult favorite when it was released and still holds a special place in my little heart. It’s exactly what the name suggests, a muted rose pink that matches a billion skin tones. On my own complexion, it’s a bit of a contrast, and so looks great when I wear a full face and bold eyes.
The thief who broke the blogger’s back and replaced me (arguably an irresponsible order) was Ashton. Queen Anastasia herself described it as a “mid-tone pale brown” and it’s on trend for being mouth-wateringly beautiful. It’s a shade that looks completely different on every skin tone and I’m obsessed with it. Plus, I love the name Ashton.
Catherine is another newcomer that immediately caught my eye and made its way to my cart. It’s a warm, brown-toned berry that meets all my fall lipstick needs. As I type, I resist the urge to apply it. It’s just beautiful.
Although I just picked up Sad Girl, it’s not part of the new collection, I’m just eyeing it from afar and patiently waiting for it to come back in stock. It is a warm, dark berry color with a metallic finish. metal!!! (!!!). Wearing this bad boy made me feel like a charming, winter witch who just stole the heart of the wrong guy, and that’s how I always want to feel.
Kaushal Beauty — Yay, It’s Saturday! Such A Beautiful Nude 👏🏽
My latest baby—um, I mean lipstick—is the paint, a deep metallic blue. Oh, there’s that lovely M word again. I love this shade, and while it’s a little harder to pull off than most colors, I think it looks amazing on everyone. I can’t get enough of this color, but hopefully I’ll get some use out of it this winter!
Since announcing the arrival of my new babies, a few people have asked me how they compare to the lipstick colors, so I went ahead and edited the most popular requests below.
Before I go, I’ll give all of you a quick update on the formula that has denied me the pleasure of trying Anastasia Liquid Lips. It has a mousse-y feel, allowing for better opacity and minimal desertion on the lips. Most of the shades only require one swipe application and will stay on my lips for about 6-8 hours, at least, unless I’m going to get a bit greasy. I think it’s definitely possible to touch it once, but it’s more likely to crack – however, given the incredible longevity of these bad boys, that’s mostly a non-issue.
Love these kids as much as I do? What is your favorite shade? Let me know! My Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick arrived in the mail today! I ordered them on National Lipstick Day because they had a buy two get one free deal. I bought Pure Hollywood, Hidden and Crush. They are shown in this order in the photo and on the switch without the box. Honestly, the formula is amazing. Its price is really worth it. It wasn’t drying at all on my lips and was very pigmented since I didn’t dip the brush again to apply it. I highly recommend this liquid lipstick. I love Colorpops but they are drying on my lips. It is not on the other side and feels very comfortable.
Ashton Liquid Lipstick (midtone Yellow Brown)
Pure Hollywood – Described as a pale pink. I thought it looked a little lighter on my lips than on my hands. It was more of a bright light pink.
Stripped – Described as a neutral beige shade. This is an accurate description of how it looks on my lips. It was a real pale color.
Crush – Described as a soft beige (light dusty rose). It felt like a light dusty rose on my lips. It looks like beige with a pink mauve bottom. very beautiful
I’ve been looking for a good braband but I really think the Crush might be the best of the three I bought. Very happy with my overall purchase though.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Waterproof Lip Makeup
Hey children! Welcome to my blog. I post makeup looks, reviews, products I recently bought, and more! Hope you enjoy my content and don’t forget to follow! A year ago I reviewed my first Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick in the shade Pure Hollywood. Had a love-hate relationship with this particular shade. Once dry it is a beautiful wet but the process of applying lipstick can be painful. It goes on unevenly, and leaves visible lines but some form even after drying. The finish is more matte than I like and it is neither long wearing nor transfer resistant. Pure Hollywood was part of the first line of liquid lipsticks released by ABH. Last spring, ABH released about seven new shades, most of which are nude. I decided to try this new batch in hopes of a better build and to end up trying another brand that I’ve been eyeing since its release, the shade being hidden.
Hands down, this is the best warm shade I own. I’ve always loved my Makeup Jack Plush Lip Cream in the shade Jet Setter, but I wish the shade was a little lighter, more peach-based than the brown base, and more matte than the cream version. Then came Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick in Stripped – just what I imagined.
A warm shade of peach, this lipstick looks perfect for light to medium skin tones. It looks too brown on fair skin and a bit too chalky on darker skin tones. However, the ABH liquid lipstick collection has shades that are lighter than Striped, as well as colors that are deeper than Striped, but are still in the lipstick range, so getting your full lipstick from the brand will Not difficult.
Formula-wise, it’s definitely easier to work with than pure Hollywood. Although the color is sheer, it doesn’t fade completely during application. The consistency is also not too sticky and dries well. However, like pure Hollywood, the steroid places cracks and crevices on your lips, although not badly. I achieved the above opacity using just one coat. The product feels weightless on your lips and doesn’t feel drying at all.

As for its long-wear and odor-resistance claims, Stripe did reasonably well for four hours of wear without a meal, but after a meal and after eight hours of wear it looked worse. However, I didn’t touch it at all so the result was nothing short of disappointing.
Overall, I’m very happy with the shade concealer and how it performs. It’s definitely a better buy than pure Hollywood, but of course it depends on the flawless shade you want. If you are looking for a neutral color for a toned pale pink, then Pure Hollywood is for you. But if you want something more like a warm toned beige with a great formula, the strip is the way to go!
