This is Nikhilesh from India. I work with Cisco and was in Sydney earlier this week on tour and on Monday we went to the Blue Mountains with Greg. He’s a great guy! He gave us a lot of information about Australia, very friendly and helpful. I think the best part of being a guide is when he becomes more of a friend than a guide, the experience is great. That’s exactly what happened to us. Now, I know that Australian tourism is going through a bit of a slump because of the fires and so on. But I’m sure with such amazing people it will be back soon. Greg is passionate about what he does and really should have as many as possible so more tourists like me can benefit from such lovely people. He rode with us all the way to Jamison Valley. A guy who improvises to give visitors an unforgettable experience is definitely something! justified. I plan to return to Australia soon with my wife and will definitely contact you to plan my vacation. Thank you for having such great guides in your platoon.
We booked a private tour to the Blue Mountains from Sydney. We wanted a private tour because we wanted to tailor the tour to our needs. Our family consists of two adults and two teenage boys, both of whom are really into photography, walking in the woods, and nature. We booked the tour through James at Cloud 9 Tours, his communication was brilliant and he helped plan our trip to the Blue Mountains in advance which meant we were all organized and our guide had a good idea of what we wanted to see and do. . Our guides name was Greg, he was fantastic, so knowledgeable, funny and made our day so special. We all had the most wonderful day and felt it really showed us all the best of the Blue Mountains, we especially enjoyed the waterfall walk, it was so beautiful. We were really happy with our lunch options and loved the Old Bank Pub for lunch in Katoomba. The scenic world was beautiful and timeless, so we missed most of the crowd. We had a really brilliant day and we all took lots of great photos. We would definitely use Cloud 9 Tours again.
Rebecca was great at responding to my emails while we were preparing for our trip. James was an excellent guide. He was waiting for us when we got off the boat and were taken to the Blue Mountains. She tailored our day perfectly to our needs. We wanted to stay away from the tourist areas and crowds. He took us to several corners where it was just us. We wanted to see some kangaroos in the wild, so he took us back to an off-road area and we saw about a dozen there. He was very knowledgeable about birds and wildlife and helped me add several birds to my life list. We had a wonderful day with James and would highly recommend him.

There are many options for visiting these places, but we immediately recommend Cloud 9 Tours and would not hesitate to book another tour. James was professional, punctual, generous, funny and personalized the tours to our liking. Traveling with James was the highlight of our two week trip to Australia.
