Double Match Donation Day is on! Please support this cause that means so much to my family and so many others! All donations are doubled until $175,000 in matching funds are completed!
When I considered joining the Cerebral Palsy Alliance Research Foundation USA, Kim was pregnant with Holden and Emme. It was a high-risk pregnancy, although I couldn’t attend the meetings in person due to covid restrictions, I heard words like premature birth, low birth weight and cerebral palsy. The challenges those words raised in our minds scared me almost as much as being a father. Not because of the disability itself, but because, as my colleague and friend says, this world was not built for people with disabilities. Today is the single most important day of #STEPTember, as it’s double donation matching day. Funds raised today and throughout #STEPTember help us build the world in an accessible way for people with cerebral palsy and other disabilities. We do it through research, and most importantly, through our program to accelerate technology for people with disabilities, amazingly. DDMD SHOULD AT 12:00 PM ET and will continue until the $175,000 in matching funds generously provided by other donors are exhausted. I am writing this today to ask you to help us build this new world. Every dollar counts. And every dollar goes twice as far WITH STARTS AT. 12:00 PM EAST. WAIT WAIT UNTIL 12 PM EASTERN TIME. Some stories need to be told. Stories of entrepreneurs and innovators, stories of life-changing technology for people with disabilities, and stories from people with disabilities about how these technologies are impacting their lives. I’m proud to announce that the Cerebral Palsy Alliance Research Foundation USA will now tell these stories through Changing What’s Possible, our new podcast. Chapters 0, 1 and 2 are available wherever you find your podcasts. Please share and help us tell that story.
