It certainly felt like spring in our house, but more importantly, it felt like home! We’ve been living in this house for *almost* six years, can you believe it? I’ve never lived anywhere for more than six years, so it’s a great feeling to settle here and spend so many seasons in this place. It continues to nourish, surprise and delight us in unexpected ways. Here, too, we get into our rhythm. Of course, it’s not perfect and life is never perfect – but the space feels more and more familiar with each season. Feels like home.

We are surrounded by so much natural beauty this time of year! On a sunny weekend, there were often dozens of boats on the water, and the scent of lilac flowers and salty air blew from our open windows. There are so many things we love about living here that I may have overlooked in the property listing photos, or when we built this house for it, I wouldn’t have known it would affect us so much. See you. In my opinion, every house has its own special elements, and if you understand and love your home and environment, you can live a better life anywhere.
