Ginninderra Medical & Dental Centre Belconnen Act – Scaling is one of the most common dental procedures performed in dental clinics. It removes plaque and/or calculus (tartar) from between and around the teeth. It also extends below the line that separates the gums from the visible part of the teeth (called the gum line) to treat and prevent gum disease. Plaque is a soft biofilm that hardens to form a calculus.
Scaling is done mainly in two ways; either manually and/or using specially designed ultrasound equipment. Both are often called scalars. Scaling can be done as part of your routine dental checkup. When root planing is added to this basic cleaning process, it means that a deep cleaning procedure will be performed by your dentist. This mode differs from the basic scale because it is done in more than one scheduled appointment.

It refers to a scale made with a mechanical ultrasound device with a vibrating tip made of metal. Tips for breaking down calculus deposits. It also has a continuous water spray that prevents the accumulation of heat due to friction and also helps to clean the pocket with its flow action.
Polishing is defined as the mechanical removal of any residual dust or discoloration after the completion of the scaling process. It also smoothes rough tooth surfaces caused by the cutting action of scalers to remove deposits.
This is done using a rubber cup or a squeegee to which a preventive paste (called polishing paste) is applied. A full rinse is enough to wash off this paste after polishing. This procedure gives a bright and shiny appearance to your teeth.
Therefore, everyone should regularly attend their scaling and polishing session as prescribed by their dentist.
Family Friendly Four Bedroom Home
All the symptoms mentioned above are temporary and disappear if you carefully follow the guidelines provided by the dentist.
Truly the most caring and wonderful dentist is Dr. Nagesh Chakka. As other reviews have pointed out, I have had the worst experiences with other doctors – the treatment is inferior to say the least. Actually wrecked and in need of corrective and preventive work, Nagesh took me under his professional wing. He was never critical and always caring. He listens carefully and will continue to investigate gum/tooth/root problems until he finds an answer – and he will. The other members of his staff have the same value for his consistent care to the rest of my family. It is my honest opinion that if you struggle with your teeth, need a helpful and exemplary professional to take care of your dental needs, or want to leave the dentist after the appointment feeling confident that you have taken care of your teeth, then this clinic. . it’s definitely for you. Thank you so much, Dr. Nagesh!
Positive Teeth is the best dentist I have ever had! Everything is explained very well, in terms you can understand! Highly recommend!!

A great dental practice – the skills, the equipment, the environment, and a sense of ongoing best practice care… and they are great to deal with – empathetic and professional. I now have three generations of my family attending Positive Dental Health and they all enjoy this place as much as I do. Can’t recommend enough.
