Glen Waverley Specialist Centre – Due to recent increases in medical costs and the inability of the Medicare rebate to keep pace with these increases, we are no longer able to offer bulk billing. As a clinic, we cannot afford to operate if we continue to bill wholesale. From 1 October 2022 we have a fee for all patients. Pensioners and health card holders get a discount. Care plans and health assessments are available for qualified patients. This is a great way for your doctor to gain a better understanding of your health and enable the entire clinical team, including nurses, to provide you with ongoing support for any medical condition you may have. We work closely with allied health providers such as physical therapy, psychology, dietetics and podiatry to ensure all your health needs are met. Our nurses will help you with an annual health assessment for patients over 75, 45-49 and disabled. They also create care plans for people with chronic medical conditions.
Bulk billing is available for all age pensioners, health card holders, veteran card holders and children under 16 years of age.
