At Goodstart Campbelltown Children’s Centre, the curriculum is a teacher-led learning framework supported by the Early Years Learning Framework. In addition, teachers conduct sensory play programs that include school preparation and school transition.
I was always worried about sending our daughter to daycare because I was convinced she didn’t want to be away from me. But now she loves being a babysitter and the mornings are so easy. He feels safe and secure immediately participating in activities and is always greeted warmly by the staff. The staff here go to great lengths to get to know families and children individually. They are available to answer any questions and are happy to talk to me when I call to check on my daughter’s condition. I appreciate the great effort of the staff for daily activities, routines, supplementing information, learning outcomes and dealing with children with many different needs. We put our son in the center at six months and the staff immediately created a positive environment where he thrived and looked forward to coming. I am so glad I decided to bring Cameron to Goodstart Campbelltown. I only sent him to the center to gain socialization skills and learn new things. The center director gave us great information about the center and helped me through the setup process. Molly was great on our first day when Cam was crying she encouraged me to call her in 10 minutes to check on her progress. Dot was great in the toddler room and Cameron developed a great bond with her. Both Carolyn and Leesa were great when Cam moved out of the nursery. I loved hearing from Leesa about my son, he was very engaging and so nice to talk to. Cameron had a very special bond with Leesa. Thank you to everyone at Goodstart Campbelltown for providing us with a very positive experience. We will be back at some stage with our second child who is now 6 months old.
My daughter started there from Kindergarten to Junior Kindy. He loves being there and I’m so happy to see him change in so many ways. The staff is very nice and helpful, they always have a beautiful smile. The management is also good.
I love this center! The staff is welcoming and always responsive to your children’s needs. My older son loves going every day and my almost 1 year old twins love it too. I have attended and worked in many centers before, and one thing that stands out to me is how much the center manager, Mardi, knows and loves each child. She is 100% there for the children and families and this is reflected in the rest of the staff. Thanks guys for all you do!
I highly recommend this center! Teachers are geniuses. I took my son’s letter at 6 months and he is still alive 4 years later. He is in good spirits now and I have watched him grow – all thanks to the teachers and tutors. It really is a family environment and the care shown to each child is to be commended.
