Low ink levels can result in poor print quality. Use the control panel to check the ink level statistics.
Treatment. Ink level alerts and indicators provide estimates for planning purposes only. When the indicator shows low ink levels, consider replacing the ink to avoid possible printing delays. You do not need to replace the ink cartridge until the print quality becomes unacceptable.
If none of the ink pods are very low or empty and the issue persists, go to the next step to make sure the ink cartridges are properly installed.
If the vent on the top of the ink cartridge is blocked or clogged, the ink cartridge may not be working properly.

If you make sure the ink cartridges are cooled and installed correctly, you don’t need to continue with the problem.
If the print head is severely clogged, you may need to clean the print head several times to restore normal print quality. After cleaning the print head, wait 30 minutes before cleaning the print head again.
Warning. Never turn off the printer without ink cartridges installed. To avoid problems that require cleaning the print head or that can damage the ink system, always replace the ink cartridge as soon as possible and always turn off the printer using the power button.
