Similar to a traditional Canadian hunting lodge, entering the Hunter Valley Lodge & Retreat takes you directly into the central lounge, where your eyes are immediately drawn to the impressive stone fireplace and soaring cathedral ceilings.
As you head up to the second floor, the overall view of the wood-panelled walls and ceiling relates to the immaculate condition of the inn.
With 11 spacious bedrooms and 8 bathrooms, this property is ideal for large family gatherings, friends, corporate groups and weddings, yet still offers a haven of privacy and comfort, with 4 separate accommodations all just metres from the hotel away. The Lodge can accommodate up to 30 guests and has 6 spacious suites and 5 bathrooms, The Retreat has an additional 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms adjacent to The Lodge. Bison Den is a game room and cinema, and for those who need more space, The Lion’s Den is a self-contained container studio with a gorgeous French bathroom on the deck.

A semi-commercial kitchen allows guests to fully prepare for their needs, or you can always hire a chef and let someone else do all the hard work for you.
