Main Beach Gold Coast Caravan Park – We realized last weekend that the A-frame of our caravan plus trailer is closer to 24 feet, not 23. When you visit Main Beach Caravan Park, if yours is the same length, ask for a longer pitch.
Just a medium sized park between Southport and Surfers Paradise, QLD, the staff were friendly and the facilities were CLEAN! Our new site was perfectly located between the amenities and the pool.

The caravan park is opposite the beach. Our main attraction. The kids went back and forth several times a day to surf or paddle. We had our Jayco Starcraft Outback and added four swags in one night. The site was able to fit comfortably, and the Hilux.

The camp kitchen has a new look and is built into an open deck and would make a nice place to eat. We used the barbecue by the pool. Very comfortable – like hot water!
On weekend nights, friends tried to cook cans of pizza. Parking can be difficult on the esplanade, it helped that the park had designated parking spaces outside the complex.
And when the heavens opened on Sunday afternoon, the kids were kept entertained with our board games and activity room complete with pool table. Well thought out!
Tedder Avenue was an easy walk, beaches, a popular cafe and a subway a block away. Most importantly, across the road was the Surf Club.
