Although 2 lengths to me doesn’t mean pushing up some simple material like the hem of a skirt, it does mean that one garment is x inches longer than the other. But hey, I’m not a “designer”
Godet panel? Sounds like one of those sewing bee transformation challenges…make something out of these 70’s poly sheets…or they ran out of use and had to use whatever they could find that fit the pattern. Awful garment…well it’s not a garment in my book it’s a fabric cover…do with it what you want…throw it over the parakeet cage at night, throw it over the thread patch that’s on the arm of the sofa. , throw it away… but the fgs don’t use it!

The beige stained version is really horrible. I’m closer to 70 than 60 and you wouldn’t see me dead in it so god knows what age group it’s aimed at.
It looks like it was put together by a committee! There’s a saying that goes…it’s so wrong it’s right, however, it doesn’t apply to this monstrosity! It’s wrong on so many levels… I hardly know where to start! But here goes… The paneling (wasn’t there enough fabric to finish the dress?), the tie belt…why?, the sweaty fabric, the random “tailoring”, the horrible designs, the fabric cheap wrinkled the look, the stitch visible!
Beach to bar? Desk for the ballroom? – No… Bathroom in the bin and don’t forget to throw the dress in the bin while you’re there… yes, you’ll have to come back naked… but to be honest, I think I’d prefer it. it’s!

I agree, although I think Ena would probably have more taste! However, on a serious note… QVC – We can live with / almost cope with bad taste (a man’s meat etc.) but also poor quality – This is unacceptable, especially when we know it will charge a price superior (until aged in tsv). This dress should have been rejected because it was of poor quality – an insult to the company and an even greater insult to the customer!
Realistically, if anything, it’s a completely wrong length. How often do you see someone wearing a 50’s style knee length dress? not often in this country. The youngsters wear minis, the fitter ones wear bodycons, and the rest of us wear midi or maxi dresses. This is typical for the American market, all you outdoor picnic stalwarts, church Sunday bakes, and Stepford mom wives!
