“From the moment we arrived we were treated like family. The Lodge is beautiful and very welcoming. Our room was lovely and comfortable. The hot shower and brandy left for us every night on our return from a trip car add to the luxury. But it was Neil, Tash and the team that made our stay so wonderful. The chef and staff went out of their way to make sure our experience was wonderful. Breakfast every morning was prepared according to our desire from our heart. Dinner was a new experience as every village choir sang to us, the stories told by the guides, every night was special. “We have just spent 3 days in Savannah, and the quality and friendliness of the service is the best I have ever experienced. Nothing was too much trouble, and our tracker’s knowledge of the bush and game was encyclopedic. Although it wasn’t the cheapest. , the cost-benefit was much higher than one of the other options we tried on the same visit.”
“I’ll start at the end… Even though we still have a week left of our honeymoon to visit Cape Town, I cried when we left Savanna. Missing only our wedding day, we felt that the time we pass here It was the most amazing time of our lives I was very nervous before our first hunting trip… However Paddy our ranger and Julius our tracker immediately put me at ease and two minutes into our tour, we saw the first of the Big 5 (buffalo) and by the end of the same tour we had seen all five, plus a bunch of others! And I loved it! David and Lawrence, the ranger and tracker for our 3rd to 6th game of the tour were equally excellent, with an incredible knowledge of the animals and the region. The food is amazing, and dinner offered us a different surprise each night (which I won’t spoil for anyone else) The service is impeccable, truly the best service we have already experienced and the s rooms… I’m not sure words can describe how beautiful and comfortable our lodge was, the plunge pool too! The hospitality at the lodge is as amazing as the animals in the park. Waking up at 5 am is a shock to the system, but we’ll soon get used to it… And after the morning walk and before the afternoon, there’s nothing left to do but relax, take a nap and soak up the sun overlooking the book (or using the gym like I once did). As an aside, it’s also worth noting that the lodge does incredible charity work with the local community. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to visit the local orphanage that the inn supports, but the trip was highly recommended by guests who did. We never thought we could relax like we did in Savanna. We recommend it to everyone, and we’re already working on when we can come back!”
“We stayed at Savanna Reserve for 4 nights as part of our honeymoon. Every part of the trip was pure perfection. We had Eddie as our tracker and Kevin as our ranger. Every trip was too emotional and it’s really amazing how close they can be. get to the animals. The meals were great and the staff was nothing but professional. The rooms are spacious and comfortable! Each room has a view of the water source where the animals come to. The our last day during breakfast a group of elephants came… breakfast with a view! there are so many surprises during your stay i would list them all but i don’t want to give it all away just stay here!! !
